Am I a masochist for caring about someone like this, cuz it is truly futile.
ya…im like that…im not a psychiatrist but somebody she trusted prolly hurt her in some kinda way…maybe a lot of people..in the end it comes down to self esteem…its hard to believe somebody loves you when you dont love yourself..feel me?? i dont think ur a masochist…but her mistrust really has nothing to do with you if youve always kept it real and all you can really do to help her is continue to care about her and never lie
jt – I think you are soooo right. Self-esteem is elusive. The person that hurt her was me, after all… long story. So her mistrust is not without merit but her lack of forgiveness and room for growth has not evolved at all and it does start with the lack of love she has for herself…
